The CRS PTA is dedicated to the advancement of education and student success. We work diligently with the community, parents, teachers and administrators, to advocate on behalf of every child for the most innovative learning programs and activities.
I am a mom of two very active boys! My oldest is entering 3rd grade at CRS and my youngest is in 1st grade this fall at CRS. I have lived in Franklin Lakes for the past 9 years and am really looking forward to serving on the CRS PTA board and supporting activities for all the children at school. Please feel free to contact me if you ever have any questions about the PTA, any programs we offer or any new ideas you would like us to consider. Thanks!
Hi, I'm Rachel Lohman, and I'm so excited to return to the CRS PTA board for my second term as vice president! My family has called Franklin Lakes home for the last six years, and my children Max (7) and Lily (6) are both proud CRS pandas in the 2nd and 1st grades. I have a corporate PR background -- but my involvement in our school community continues to be one of my most rewarding roles! It's an honor to work with our involved CRS families to benefit our school through fundraisers and activities that bring us closer together. In my spare time, I love to cook, explore new restaurants, and play outside with my kids. I look forward to working together to make the 2015-16 school year the best yet! If you have any ideas, questions or just want to make a connection, I welcome you to reach out anytime.
I am the proud mom of Abby, in 7th grade at FAMS and Morgan, in 4rd grade, here at CRS. Where has the time gone? Having lived in town for 8 years, I enjoy volunteering my time at my children's schools. At CRS, I have been class mom, library mom, helped with the 5th grade activities and have chaired several successful fundraisers. I am entering my 3rd year on the PTA Executive Board as Vice President. I previously held the PTA Treasurer position during my girls' preschool years. I am a CPA and worked in both the public and private sectors, while professionally employed. Since becoming a stay-at-home mom, I have started my own small business called Favor-it!. Through my website and out of my house, I offer hand-painted party favors, baby and children's gifts, bar/bat mitzvah favors, and more! In my spare time, I enjoy working out, playing tennis, reading, hanging out with friends and shopping! I can’t wait to work with my fellow Board members and the entire CRS community to make the 2015-16 school year an excellent experience for our children!
Hello, I am Nicole Harris. My family and I returned to NJ last summer after living in South Florida for almost five years. We were drawn to Franklin Lakes for many of its wonderful attributes, however the school system is the main reason that we have happily settled here. I have two awesome boys, Jordan (11) and Cole (6) that keep me very active. I have been a class mom for both boys, chaired the Bookfair and volunteered for numerous events at our previous home school. Since joining CRS I have volunteered at as many events as possible and co-chair the Caring for Our Community committee. I strongly believe in parents and schools working together. The CRS PTA has so many opportunities for students, parents and teachers to participate in. I look forward to connecting with our new and returning members.
Hi, my name is Krystal Choi. I am a mom of two wonderful kids. My son, William is 6 years old and will be entering first grade in September. My daughter, Victoria is 4 years old and will be attending CRS in 2 years! I was a Registered Nurse for 14 years at Hackensack Hospital. I waited a long time to have children. I always said when I do become a mom, I will be an active PTA member of my children's school. Well, that time has come! This past year I was the co chair of the Red, White and Blue Appreciation Breakfast for the staff and also co chaired the assemblies at CRS. During this past year, I was often proud to be part of the PTA at CRS! I tried to attend as much CRS functions and saw what great work the chairs and the board members did to enhance our school.
I am honored to be part of the board of the CRS PTA! I am always open for suggestions and ideas to help our kids. After all, we are here to help our kids have brighter futures! Thank you for giving me this opportunity to represent you.
Hello everyone, my name is Jane and I am excited and honored to be a part of something so special. I have two children, an 8 year old and a 3 year old. I work full time but this doesn't stop me from lending a helping hand whenever I can. I am grateful to the welcoming PTA mothers, for making me feel right at home in such a short period of time. I thank you all for the opportunity and trust you have placed in me. The treasurer position is one I feel most confident in, as I work with bookkeeping daily and loooooove numbers.
As our PTA president Susan Walker says, "we are not curing cancer here." BUT I agree with her, and feel that we play an integral part in the success of our children's education and school experiences. I am eager to plan, help, coordinate, and volunteer...whatever it takes, to improve our children's education here at CRS.
